Stuck, charged twice, or think a suspect misbehaved? Start here. If your answer isn't below, email us — we're a small studio and we answer our own mail.
Usually within two business days.
Contact us
Email owner@first-studio.dev. To get you a fast, useful answer, please include:
- Your device and OS version (for example, iPhone 15, iOS 18).
- Whether you're on the App Store or Google Play.
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead.
- For purchase issues: your store receipt or order ID.
Passwords, payment card numbers, or anything sensitive. We never need them, and we can't do anything useful with them.
Purchases & restores
I bought the game but it's locked on my new device
Open Settings → Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in to the same Apple Account or Google account you originally purchased with — purchases are tied to that store account, not to your email address.
I want a refund
Refunds are handled by the store that took your payment, not by us. On iOS, use Apple's Report a Problem page; on Android, request the refund through Google Play. We don't process payments or hold your payment details. See our Terms for details.
I was charged but got nothing
Try Settings → Restore Purchases first — that resolves most cases. If it doesn't, email us your store receipt and we'll sort it out.
What does the base price include?
A one-time purchase unlocks the base game and its first theme, plus your included daily questions. New themes and extra question packs are separate optional purchases. There are no ads, no energy timers, and nothing that lets another player buy an advantage.
Daily questions
Why is there a daily limit at all?
Every question you ask a suspect is answered by a real AI model, and that costs us money each time. The daily allowance keeps the game affordable to run without ads or subscriptions — and, honestly, it keeps interrogations sharp instead of endless.
When does my allowance reset?
Daily questions refresh once per day. If your counter looks wrong, close and reopen the game so it can re-sync with our server, then check again.
I ran out mid-case
Your case waits for you — nothing is lost and no progress expires. You can come back when your questions refresh, or buy an optional question pack if you'd rather keep going now. Offline puzzles, evidence, and your case wall stay fully playable either way.
Saves, sync & progress
Will I lose my case if I close the game?
No. Progress saves automatically as you play, including your evidence, transcripts, and case wall.
Does my progress move between devices?
Yes, when your game is linked to your platform gaming account (Google Play Games Services on Android, Game Center on iOS). Sign in with the same account on the new device and your progress follows you.
My progress didn't appear on a new device
Confirm you're signed in to the same gaming account, connect to the internet, and reopen the game so it can sync. If it still doesn't show, email us before deleting anything — starting a fresh save can overwrite what we'd otherwise recover.
Playing the game
How do I interrogate someone?
Type your question in your own words, exactly as you'd ask a person. There are no dialogue menus. Suspects remember what you've already discussed, so following up on a shaky answer is usually more productive than starting over.
A suspect won't answer me straight
That's the game, not a bug. Suspects deflect, downplay, and occasionally lie depending on who they are and what they're protecting. Push on the contradiction, bring a second suspect in to contradict them, or find evidence that makes the lie untenable.
I'm stuck and don't know who did it
Work the case wall: link means, motive, and opportunity for each suspect and see whose web actually holds. Search rooms you've skipped, and re-examine evidence up close — most dead ends are a thread you haven't pulled yet.
Do I need to be online?
Interrogating AI suspects requires an internet connection. Exploring, examining evidence, the puzzle minigames, and your case wall work offline.
AI suspects & reporting content
A suspect said something offensive or inappropriate
Please report it. In the game, use Settings → Report AI Content, or email us with what you asked and what it replied. Suspect dialogue is generated by an AI model, so it can occasionally produce something we didn't intend — your reports are how we tighten it.
Is anything a suspect says real?
No. Every character, event, and statement in AlibA.I. is fiction. Nothing a suspect says is advice, and the interrogation box is not a way to reach us — use email for that.
Should I type personal information into an interrogation?
Please don't. Your questions are sent to our servers and on to our AI provider to generate replies, and the conversation is stored so the character stays consistent. Keep real personal or sensitive details out of it. Full detail is in our Privacy Policy.
Account & data
How do I delete my account and data?
Use Settings → Account → Delete Account in the game, or email owner@first-studio.dev with the subject “Delete my account.” This removes your game data and your stored interrogation transcripts.
What happens to my purchases if I delete my account?
Purchases live with your App Store or Google Play account, not with us, so they aren't erased — but your game progress is permanently gone and can't be recovered. If you reinstall later, use Settings → Restore Purchases.
What data do you collect?
As little as we can. In short: your interrogation conversations, gameplay progress, anonymous usage analytics, and crash reports. The full breakdown — including which services we use and why — is in the Privacy Policy.
How do I stop the beta or launch emails?
Every email we send has an unsubscribe link, or just reply and ask — we'll remove you.
Bugs & crashes
The game crashes or won't start
Restart your device, confirm the game is fully updated, and make sure you have free storage. If it persists, email us with your device model, OS version, and what you were doing when it happened — crash reports help, but your description helps more.
A suspect never replies
This is almost always the connection. Check that you're online, then reopen the game. If it keeps happening on a good connection, let us know.
Something looks wrong on my screen
Tell us your exact device and send a screenshot if you can. Layout issues are usually specific to one screen size and are quick for us to fix once we can see it.
Beta & what's next
How do I join the open beta?
Sign up on the AlibA.I. page — pick iOS or Android, leave your email, and we'll send your invite when testing opens for your platform.
Are more mysteries coming?
Yes. More themes are in production beyond the first, and new suspects, evidence, and weapons arrive with them. The game page is where we post what's next.
I have feedback or an idea
Send it. We're a family studio and player mail genuinely shapes what we build next.
Still need a hand?
