These terms are the agreement between you and First_Studio. We've kept them as plain as the law allows — because a studio that respects your time should respect your patience, too.
Use our site and games fairly and legally. When you buy a game, it's yours to play — no subscriptions, no surprise charges, no pay-to-win. Don't copy or resell our work, and understand that games are provided "as is." Utah law governs these terms.
Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the website at first-studio.games, our games (including AlibA.I.), and any related content or services we offer (together, the "Services"), provided by First_Studio LLC, a Utah limited liability company ("First_Studio," "we," "us," or "our").
By accessing the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Services.
Eligibility
The Services are intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 13 and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the Services only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
Your license to play
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and play our games for your own non-commercial entertainment. You don't own the game itself — you own a license to play it — but that license is yours for keeps once purchased, on the platforms where you bought it, in accordance with those platforms' rules.
Purchases, pricing & AI usage
We believe in straightforward, up-front pricing. You pay a one-time price for the base game, which includes its starting theme. Because our detective is powered by live artificial intelligence, every question you ask carries a real computing cost — so each case includes a generous daily allowance of questions, and if you choose to keep investigating the same case beyond that allowance, you may optionally purchase additional questions for a small, fixed price. Optional downloadable content ("DLC"), such as additional theme packs, adds new mysteries but is never required to play.
- We do not use loot boxes, randomized paid rewards, or any "pay-to-win" mechanics. Every purchase has a fixed price and a clearly stated value.
- Every optional purchase — additional questions or DLC — is shown to you with its exact price before you buy, and is never randomized or hidden.
- The daily question allowance exists to cover real AI computing costs and to keep play focused — not to pressure you into spending. You are never required to pay more to finish a case fairly.
- Prices are shown before purchase and may change over time, but a change never affects content or questions you have already bought.
- All purchases are processed by the app store or platform where you buy the game (for example, the Apple App Store or Google Play).
- Refunds and billing are handled by that platform under its own refund policy — we do not separately process payments or store your card details.
Acceptable use
When using the Services, you agree not to:
- Copy, modify, distribute, sell, rent, or reverse-engineer any part of our games or site, except as expressly permitted by law.
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security or technical-protection features.
- Use the Services for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
- Access the Services through automated means (bots, scrapers) in a way that disrupts them.
- Misrepresent your affiliation with First_Studio or impersonate others.
Our intellectual property
The Services and all of their contents — including the First_Studio and AlibA.I. names and logos, game art, characters, writing, music, code, and design — are owned by or licensed to First_Studio and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. Except for the limited license to play described above, nothing in these Terms transfers any ownership or rights to you. You may not use our names or logos without our prior written permission.
Your content & feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, perpetual license to use that feedback to improve our Services, without any obligation to compensate you. We appreciate it — and we're not obligated to act on it. You're responsible for any content you submit and represent that you have the right to share it.
Third-party platforms & links
Our games are distributed through, and our site may link to, third-party platforms and services (such as app stores). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms and privacy policies, not ours. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third party.
Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. Your use of the Services is at your own discretion and risk, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, First_Studio and its members will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of your use of the Services. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Services will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us for the relevant game in the twelve months before the claim, or twenty U.S. dollars (US $20). Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of these may not apply to you.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless First_Studio LLC and its members from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the Services or your violation of these Terms or any applicable law.
Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Services. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will continue to apply.
Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Services will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Utah, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts — except where applicable law gives you the right to bring a claim in your local courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll revise the "Last updated" date above. For material changes, we'll provide reasonable notice. Your continued use of the Services after the changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
